Making a Difference: Our Ongoing Commitment to Local Communities

At Julie Lawson Community Events CIC, we are deeply committed to supporting local charities and initiatives that make a real difference in our communities. Through our partnerships and contributions, we strive to provide help where it's needed most and improve the lives of those who face hardship.

One of our most valued collaborations is with Centre 56, a charity that provides essential care for children affected by domestic violence. We are proud to assist them in creating a safe, supportive environment for these children as they begin to heal and recover.

We also support Bootle Bucks Inclusion CIC, a special needs football team, by donating to their annual tournament, which brings together young people from across the country.

Similarly, our ongoing support for North Mersey OBC Boxing Club in Seaforth helps fund their annual boxing tournament, offering a positive outlet for youth in a deprived area.

For many years, we’ve worked closely with RNLI Merseyside, specifically focusing our donations on volunteer kits in the Merseyside area. This support helps ensure that the volunteers can continue their vital life-saving work.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we donated £3500 worth of bedding to Sefton Community Pantry, providing much-needed support to families struggling with eviction and hardship. Our commitment to our local community continues, particularly through our support for Woodlands Hospice. In addition to regular donations, we raised funds to provide a "chatty bench" outside the hospice, creating a peaceful space for families and visitors to reflect and find comfort.

Every Christmas, we lend our support to Bay Tree Cooking Academy CIC, helping them provide a festive meal for over 250 people, complete with presents and entertainment. Additionally, our annual hampers, financial support, and £1500 worth of Aldi vouchers ensure struggling families and victims of domestic violence can experience a little relief during the holiday season.

Our outreach extends to helping Romanian refugees with essential items like TVs and washing machines, and supporting special needs children with gifts such as gaming consoles. We also sponsor Crosby Stuart and Forefield Rangers Children's Football Teams, providing kits and organizing fundraising events for the teams.

One of the most touching projects we’ve been involved in was working with Netherton Park Neighbourhood Centre to help a 91-year-old woman escape domestic violence. With the support of local businesses, we assisted her in moving into a new home, where she could spend her remaining months in peace and comfort.

We have hosted numerous Gala Balls, including events at the Cunard Building in Liverpool, raising thousands of pounds for charities such as Alzheimer’s, Walking with Giants, and Healing Little Hearts.

At Julie Lawson Community Events CIC, we are dedicated to continuing our work in the community, ensuring that no one is left without support. Whether through financial donations, hands-on assistance, or providing a platform for local causes, we are proud to make a lasting impact and contribute to a brighter future for our community.
